Monte Sano State Park Pavilion
The Monte Sano Pavilion is a pavilion built inside Monte Sano State Park. Redmond Construction self performed all work including civil, concrete, Hardie board, heavy timbers, roofing, painting, and landscaping. The pavilion is primarily used by HAMR (Huntsville Area Mountain Bike Riders). The structure was built in 2019.
Huntsville Botanical Gardens
Tweetsville - Phase 1
Huntsville Botanical Gardens Tweetsville is a bird sanctuary designed by Herb Lewis. The project includes a children’s park extension with tree maze, Rocket City Bird House, and the focal point is the Lewis bird watch pavilion shown above. Redmond Construction self performed the civil, concrete, storm drainage, and built the Lewis bird house.
Huntsville Botanical Gardens
Tweetsville - Phase 2
Tweetsville - Phase 2 consists of a giant bird next, three unique tiny houses, and custom tree hardscape. Redmond Construction self-performed the civil, concrete, and construction of the tiny houses.
The custom tree used colored concrete and a rough concept by the designer. The design was finalized by Redmond Construction and Huntsville Botanical Gardens. The tree uses colored concrete and local vegetation for stamping. Tweetsville also has owl, turkey, and eagle bird tracks stamped throughout the area of the park.

Travelers II - Hardscapes
Big Spring Park Travelers II is a park addition completed in 2022. Redmond Construction performed the concrete which includes integral black concrete accents.
Huntsville Botanical Gardens
Visitor Center - Hardscapes
Redmond Construction employees performed the visitor center concrete hardscape. The work includes exposed aggregate accent strips and brick paver accent systems.
Skyline Gun Range
The Skyline Gun Range project consisted of demoing the old structures and replacing with new covered structures. This project was for the Department of Conservation and Natural resources and completed in 2019.
John Hunt Park - Hardscapes
Redmond Construction has performed multiple hardscape projects throughout John Hunt Park including the Soccer Field, Wilcoxon Municipal Ice Complex, and new management building.
